What makes Share Program worth it?

A no-cost way to plan ahead + -

Egg freezing lets you grow your family on your own schedule. Share Program takes the five-figure price tag off the table — your full cycle and 10 years of storage are covered, with nothing hidden.

Someone in your corner the whole way + -

From your first question to your last, a coordinator from our team is your guide, advocate, and go-to expert. Curious, nervous, overwhelmed — whatever you’re feeling, we’re right there with you.

A real look at your fertility + -

Share Program members get full fertility and genetic testing at no charge — the kind of insight most people only see once they’re already trying to conceive, and that can shape how you plan for what’s next.

Help another family grow + -

The half you share goes to people who can’t build their family alone — couples facing infertility, same-sex partners, cancer survivors and more — so your decision lifts someone else up, too.

Frequently asked
questions

How much does the Share Program cost?

For many of us, the ideal time to freeze is exactly when it’s hardest to pay for. If you qualify, Share Program covers your egg freezing and 10 years of storage at no cost — in exchange, half of the eggs collected go to a family who couldn’t otherwise conceive. Nothing hidden, no surprise fees.

Who do my donated eggs go to?

You’re helping people who dream of parenthood but can’t get there without support, including:

  • Couples struggling with infertility
  • LGBTQ+ couples and individuals
  • Cancer survivors
  • Women experiencing age-related decline
  • Single intended parents
How does CryoGenesis handle relationships between donors and families?

You choose how much contact you’d like with the family. With a disclosed donation, you meet virtually or by phone before finalizing the match, and any future relationship is up to both parties. With an undisclosed donation, you don’t meet, and all communication goes through CryoGenesis. Sometimes medical updates may need to be shared for the wellbeing of the child or family.

What are the medical risks? Will egg freezing hurt?

Egg freezing is generally considered safe and effective, though there can be side effects — bloating, cramping, nausea, or breast tenderness from the stimulation medications. Retrieval is a short, outpatient procedure performed under sedation; most people describe mild cramping or soreness afterward. Your doctor will review all potential risks with you before starting.

How many eggs will I get?

The number retrieved varies with age, overall health, ovarian reserve, and response to medication. When we screen Share Program members, we look for strong ovarian health and other indicators that suggest a higher likelihood of success — both for your own goals and for the family you help.
